Green Care Agro Limited started its journey in 2010 with an aim to help poor farmers who were victims of extreme poverty, deprivation and hunger. We promoted social and lifestyle changes in the area through small holding tea cultivation. In its early days, Green Care Agro distributed millions of tea saplings to hundreds of farmers at low or no cost to help grow interest in tea plantation. The motive was to help alleviate poverty and generate employment thus bringing overall sustainability to economic development.

As years progressed, Green Care Agro took an active role in this social and lifestyle change and stayed hand in hand with the farmers to ride the wave. As a recognition to his service, our Technical Consultant Mr. Mosharraf Hossain received numerous accolades including award from honorable Prime Minister for poverty alleviation in North Bengal.

In addition to providing assistance to build a better region, Green Care Agro and its shareholders contributed personal resources to help villagers in other areas including building mosque and providing healthcare services to factory workers and suppliers. Together with the villagers in a joint venture partnership, we built a beautifully designed mosque in Majhipara (near the factory compound) that can accommodate over 1000 people to pray at a time. To us, it’s not only business, it’s a way for us to pay back to our nation.
